Hazratganj crossing to be named after former PM AB Vajpayee, a new park & library to come up too!

As a tribute to Late Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lucknow’s most famous Hazrat Ganj crossing could be named after him. This decision has been taken collectively by the corporators, at a meeting in the Lucknow Municipal Corporation Office.

Vajpayee has had a big hand in the development of Lucknow. The inner Ring Road circle, The establishment of Gomti Nagar Station, setting up housing schemes for poor, building flyovers, and most importantly getting quick approval for all the projects, is what has led to the making of this beautiful city.

A park to honour the great Former PM!

LMC has also decided to set up a lush green park in the city, to honour our beloved leader. This park will have an open auditorium, where literary events will take place on a regular basis. It will be a place for Poetry sessions, discussions on important issues, and other meaningful events, that will help people spread the meaning of expression.

A library and adda for intellectuals!

Our Former PM was himself a poet and a journalist, thus this place would be another perfect tribute, where opinions can openly be expressed and shared. This Library would be a place for journalists and intellectuals to assemble, discuss on important topics and prove that a pen is mightier than a sword.
