After a prolonged delay, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has rolled out a comprehensive plan to alleviate the city's parking issues by designating specific areas for free parking. Key areas for this initiative include Ashram Road, Sabarmati Powerhouse Road, and the 132 Feet Ring Road.
The demand for foreign language experts in Gujarat, including those proficient in Chinese, French, Spanish, Japanese, and German, is on the rise. In response, the School of International Studies and Diaspora at Gujarat University has established a 'Department of Foreign Languages (DFL)' for the current year.
This department offers training through graduate, post-graduate, certificate, and post-graduate diploma courses. Interested students can register on the GICAS portal and complete the admission process at Gujarat University by July 31st.

Singapore Airlines is set to increase its connectivity between Singapore and Ahmedabad by introducing daily flights starting from September 1, 2024, subject to regulatory approval. Currently, the airline operates five weekly flights using the Airbus A350-900.
The new daily service will utilize an Airbus A350 with 40 business class seats and 263 economy class seats.
