PVR Inox opens its largest 9-screen multiplex in Palladium Mall

PVR Inox has inaugurated its largest 9-screen multiplex at Phoenix Palladium Mall in Ahmedabad. This new cinema, featuring IMAX and LUXE formats, marks Gujarat’s first luxury cinema experience. With this launch, PVR Inox now operates 36 screens across six properties in Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad recorded 33 mm rainfall on Thursday

Ahmedabad experienced significant rainfall, with the highest recorded at 33 mm in Naroda and 31 mm in Bodakdev. The afternoon downpour led to the temporary closure of the Mithakhali Railway Underpass around 5:30 PM, which reopened in the evening after water discharge.

No gates at the Vasna Barrage on the Sabarmati River were opened.

Repair work on Shastri Bridge, which has been partially closed for over 6 months, is now expected to take an additional 6 months. Originally slated for a three-month completion, the discovery of more cracks by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has delayed the project.

Shastri Bridge, a crucial link between Vishala and Narol junction, connects to Express and National Highway No. 8. Closure of its one side has been causing continued traffic disruptions and passenger inconvenience.

IndiGo Airlines expands flights from A'bad to Amritsar and Bhubaneswar

IndiGo Airlines has announced an expansion of its domestic flight services from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport. Starting September 16, the airline will increase flights to Amritsar to 3 times a week, and from September 17, it will operate flights to Bhubaneswar, 4 times a week.
