NHSRCL successfully completes 100% land acquisition milestone in Gujarat

The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) achieved a significant milestone by completing 100% land acquisition in Gujarat for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. This ambitious project required the acquisition of 951.14 hectares of land across eight districts in Gujarat, out of a total project land requirement of 1389.49 hectares.

The final piece of land acquisition took place in Surat district's Kathore village, encompassing 4.99 hectares. The project will include an operational control center in Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, as well as three depots, two in Gujarat and one in Thane, Maharashtra.
