Flyover construction to ease traffic woes at Panjarapol Crossroad
The heavy traffic congestion plaguing the Panjarapol intersection has prompted the municipality to issue a tender for the construction of a flyover in the area. Once completed, this 652-meter-long, 17-meter-wide flyover on the road from Ambawadi to Vastrapur at Panjarapol Junction, with an estimated cost of approximately 74 crores, will alleviate the traffic problems faced by over one and a half lakh motorists passing through the junction daily.
Moreover, provisions for parking space beneath the bridge and the installation of a service road with white topping are in the works. The entire construction project is expected to be finalized within two years.
