Bracing for Cyclone Biparjoy, 25 control rooms put together in Ahmedabad
The Cyclone Biparjoy is less than 200 kilometres from the Gujarat coast and is likely to make landfall in the evening today near the state’s Jakhau port. In light of this, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has put together 25 control rooms at various zones across the city, including a monsoon control room at Sanskar Kendra in Paldi.
These centres will render quick response to those affected by the approaching cyclone.
