Notably, Ahmedabad, along with three other cities in the state, will host a grand 2-3 km long Tiranga Yatra, expected to draw over 100,000 participants. This vibrant procession will see citizens marching through the city with the tricolour, embodying the spirit of patriotism and collective pride!

Grand Tiranga Yatras in Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad

Under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, grand Tiranga Yatras will be held in four major cities of Gujarat: Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad, with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in attendance. The schedule for the Tiranga Yatra is as follows:

Rajkot: 10th August

Surat: 11th August

Vadodara: 12th August

Ahmedabad: 13th August

Each Tiranga Yatra will cover approximately 2 to 3 kilometres in the four main cities. Participation is expected to be over 1 lakh citizens in Surat and Ahmedabad, and between 50,000 to 70,000 in Rajkot and Vadodara. The celebrations will include performances by bands from the armed forces, police, schools, and private groups, playing patriotic tunes.

Cultural performances and nine tableaux from various state government departments will add to the festive atmosphere. There will be a variety of events like Tiranga Rally, Tiranga Run, Tiranga Concert, Tiranga Canvas, Tiranga Oath, Tiranga Selfie, Tiranga Sanmaan, and Tiranga Mela, encouraging widespread public participation.

Throughout the district, the national flag will be hoisted at schools, industrial institutions, government offices, iconic locations, and tourist spots. Government buildings will be adorned with lights, creating a vibrant celebratory atmosphere for the national festival.
