Ahmedabad, the thriving metropolis of Gujarat, is rapidly transforming into a haven of opulent and modern highrises. Particularly in the suburban areas that are seamlessly merging into the city, an array of contemporary commercial and residential spaces are emerging, with locales like Iskon-Ambali Road even earning the moniker "Manhattan Road" due to its impressive highrise structures.

Among these architectural marvels, one standout dream home has been meticulously crafted by the visionary Architect Kavisha Patel and her husband. Drawing inspiration from the sophisticated elements of Japanese and Scandinavian design, they have curated a truly exquisite residence that stands as a testament to beauty and innovation within Ahmedabad.

Both Kavita and Kalp are qualified architects, with Kavita being associated with Verdant Atelier and Kalp deeply rooted in the realm of real estate. Their collective expertise has been woven into the fabric of their home, where double-height glazing elegantly frames breathtaking views of Ahmedabad - a rarity within the confines of traditional city apartments.

During a transformative journey to Norway, the couple encountered the artful simplicity of sparse color palettes and minimalistic lines found in local homes. This experience became a spring of inspiration, leading them to infuse their home with serene neutral tones punctuated by delicate touches of ochre and red. Embracing the "Japandi" style, a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design philosophies, was a natural fit for their vision.

Kalp elaborates, "Sweeping volumes, muted hues, and textured wood tones appear homogeneously across the apartment, celebrating the best of both design disciplines. As we all know, design affects our moods. What we wanted was a soothing ambience…a calm, peaceful space in which to unwind after a day’s work."
