6 Weekly Special Trains to run between Ahmedabad and Mangaluru from June 9

The first Weekly Special train will depart from Ahmedabad on June 9, at 04:00 PM.

To cater to the extra rush of the summer break, starting June 9, Konkan Railways is all set to run weekly special trains between Ahmedabad and Mangaluru for three trips each.

The first Weekly Special train will depart from Ahmedabad on June 9, at 04:00 PM. Meanwhile, from Mangaluru it will depart on June 10, at 05:10 AM. The trains will make only 3 trips each.

Special trains to run for three weekends

The Ahmedabad and Mangaluru special trains will constitute 3 AC 2-tier coaches, 12 AC 3-tier economy coaches, 3 sleeper class coaches, 2 second class sitting coaches, 1 second class (divyang friendly) cum luggage/brake van coach and 1 generator car. The details of the special trains are as follows:

Weekly Special Train no. 09423 from Mangaluru to Ahmedabad:

  • Departure Time: 09:10 PM

  • Arrival Time: 01:15 AM

  • Running days: June 10, 17 and 24 (three Saturdays)

Weekly Special Train no. 09424 from Ahmedabad to Mangaluru:

  • Departure Time: 04:00 PM

  • Arrival Time: 07:40 AM

  • Running day: June 9, 16 and 23 (three Fridays)

On it’s long journey, the trains will make scheduled halts at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi and Surathkal.
