Nestled in the Sanand village of Gujrat, this bird sanctuary boasts of vibrant bird species and a large number of migratory birds who travel here from far-away places like UAE, Oman, Siberia, and Yemen.

So, here's a rundown of what you can find when you make your way to the bird sanctuary.

You can head over to bask in sun and look at the almost 210 varieties of rare species like rosy pelicans, flamingoes, white storks, brahmins ducks, and herons besides beautiful plants and animals. And if luck is in your favour, you’ll also be able to spot few endangered species like the wild ass and the black buck at the wetlands.

Moreover, once here, you can indulge yourself in thrilling horse riding and mesmerising boat ride at the lake. So are you ready for some pleasant sun and outdoor picnic time?
