Zeal Jani

In a significant step forward for India's railway infrastructure, the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train has recently completed its final trials. Built at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, this modern train has undergone extensive testing, covering a distance of 15000 km.

Once operational, it will become the 3rd Vande Bharat train of India offering commuters traveling between these two major cities an enhanced and luxurious travel experience. With a focus on energy efficiency, passenger comfort, and safety, it aims to raise the bar for rail travel standards, potentially surpassing its counterparts on other routes.

Reduced travel time and advanced features:

The new Vande Bharat Express guarantees a notably swifter and more comfortable journey between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Passengers can anticipate reaching their destination approximately 45 minutes faster than the current trains, which typically require around 5 hours and 25 minutes. This acceleration in travel time is attributed to the train's enhanced acceleration and deceleration capabilities, enabling it to attain speeds of 160 kilometers per hour.

In addition to its impressive speed, the train features AC Chair Cars and Executive Chair Cars and state-of-the-art air conditioning systems equipped with UV lamps for purifying the air. With security cameras positioned throughout the train and a centralized Coach Control Management System, passengers can rest assured of a secure journey with real-time monitoring. Furthermore, passengers can indulge in onboard entertainment via 32-inch displays, ensuring a comfortable and convenient trip.
