The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a week of rainfall for Ahmedabad, with light to moderate showers expected. On August 1, the city is likely to experience a generally cloudy sky with light rain, and temperatures ranging from 26°C to 28°C.
From August 2-3, moderate rain is anticipated, with consistent temperatures. The city may see rain or thundershowers on August 4 and 5.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has sealed five food stalls at Kankaria Lakefront following incidents of food contamination, including a customer finding insects in tomato sauce.
