Locals transform a vacant plot into a lush garden in Ghodasar

A neglected 9,400-square-metre plot near Dhawal Bharwad Ghodasar has been transformed into a lush garden. In 2010, locals planted 100 saplings around the plot, which had been covered in dirt for years.

The community took personal responsibility for nurturing the trees, including banyan, neem, and pipal. Within two years, the corporation developed the area further by adding a jogging track, turning it into a beautiful community garden.
