Pre-School Association protests against AMC's actions

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has sealed over 300 pre-schools in Ahmedabad. In response, the Pre-school Association of Gujarat, Ahmedabad Chapter, held a silent protest on Tuesday.

The association demanded that pre-schools be governed by the Women and Child Development Department, similar to Anganwadis. They also urged the civic body to focus on obtaining structural stability reports instead of seeking Building Use permissions from the schools.

Bad weather disrupts flights at SVPI Airport

Severe weather conditions in Ahmedabad and several other parts of the country have caused significant disruptions at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport.

On Tuesday, bad weather led to rotational delays in flight operations, resulting in the cancellation of four flights and delays for 34 others, including 12 arrivals and 22 departures.
