GIFT City is set to host this year's Filmfare Awards on January 28th, in collaboration with the Gujarat Tourism Department. Ahmedabad Civil Hospital introduces the "Hand Belt" initiative, a color-coded system at the Trauma Center for emergency patients. The belts, in red, yellow, green, pink, and blue, categorize patients based on severity. With around 500 daily patients, this system aids doctors in prioritizing cases and initiating prompt treatment.
The color-coded belts also assist staff in quickly identifying case severity during diagnostic procedures like X-rays, sonography, or CT scans.
Ahmedabad experienced a 2.3-degree drop in temperature on Tuesday, reaching a low of 11.5 degrees due to the cold winds. This marks the fourth instance of recording the lowest temperature this winter. The cold spell is anticipated to persist for another three days.
On Tuesday, the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad was 11.5 degrees, with a maximum of 28.3 degrees. Predictions indicate that the temperature in the city will be around 14 to 16 degrees from January 27.
