Heritage Walk fee hike reversed

The responsibility of organizing the heritage walk was entrusted to Akshar Travels, a private agency, by the World Heritage City Trust. According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the agency was authorized to charge 200 from an Indian citizen and 300 from a foreign national for participating in heritage walks.

However, concerns arose during the Standing Committee meeting on Thursday when the agency began charging 400 from an Indian citizen and 500 from a foreign national. Swift action was taken, and the fee hike was promptly reversed, acknowledging that more money was collected through this adjustment.

Divya Kala Shakti set for January 1 in Vastral

A talent show named Divya Kala Shakti is scheduled for January 1 in Vastral, a collaborative effort between the CRC Center at Odhav and the Central Government. The event aims to support various Central Government schemes focused on the skill development of differently-abled individuals.

Notable leaders, including the Union Minister of Social and Justice Authority, are expected to attend this impactful event.

LAN Esports tournament final kicks off in Ahmedabad today

Ahmedabad, known for hosting numerous sporting events, is set to make history by hosting its first offline LAN (Local Area Network) esports tournament final from today until Sunday. Krafton, the South Korean game developer famous for PUBG, now BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), will organize the event at Ahmedabad's EKA Arena stadium.

The 'Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023' (BMPS) final will showcase 16 professional esports teams, with six matches scheduled each day.

Weather update

The weather forecast suggests a decline in cold spell in Gujarat over the next five days. While the minimum temperature is expected to rise during the night, the maximum temperature will remain constant. Anticipating a shift, the weather department hints at a potential temperature increase in the state, particularly in districts like Ahmedabad, by 2-3 degrees in the next two days.

This relief from cold is expected to bring milder conditions to various regions, offering respite to residents.
