To manage the surge in passenger traffic during Diwali and Chhath Puja, Indian Railways has announced special train services from Gujarat, according to an official release. These services will operate from key locations including Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Rajkot, easing the strain on regular trains.

Railway sources report that six pairs of festival special trains will run from Ahmedabad, connecting the city to destinations such as Lucknow, Danapur, Banaras, and Jaynagar.
