Scorching temp persist in Gujarat, no relief expected soon

Gujarat is currently grappling with unusually high daytime temperatures, a trend the meteorological department expects to continue over the next week. While maximum temperatures are close to seasonal norms, minimum temperatures remain elevated, contributing to persistent warmth.

Northeast and east winds have kept the atmosphere dry, delaying any cooling effect. Although maximum temperatures dropped by about 1°C in the past 24 hours, minimum temperatures remain unchanged, indicating that the current warm spell is likely to persist.
