Comfort in a cup: Don't miss out on Dudh Thabdi at THIS Stall near Vastrapur Lake, Ahmedabad!

Zeal Jani

Hello, fellow food enthusiasts! If you're craving a winter treat that's healthy, comforting, and pocket-friendly, let us introduce you to the Kathiyawadi Dudhthabdi stall by Vastrapur Lake.

Each of us has tasted Thabdi, but this place offers something unique. Run by two students, the stall offers a steaming cup filled with Thabdi (straight from Amreli) generously drenched in ghee, served with rich warm milk, and topped with a delightful sprinkle of dry fruits. Trust us; this one's a winter wonder you don't want to miss!

Warm goodness!

As winter blankets Ahmedabad with its cool embrace, our taste buds start tingling for those rich and healthy sweet dishes that define the season. We've got Adadiya, Gajar no Galwo, Sukhadi, and now, adding a touch of warmth to the list is the beloved Dudh Thabdi.

There's something magical about relishing a bowl of piping hot Thabdi – it's like a cozy hug for your taste buds.

How did they start?

Now, let us spill the beans on the origin story of this delectable delight. Last year, a two students decided to share the joy of Amreli's Thabdi with the good folks of Ahmedabad, and boy, did they succeed!

The sweet Thabdi served with hot milk became an instant hit, creating a buzz that's hard to ignore.

Knock Knock!

The best part? You don't need to break the bank for this culinary escapade. A hearty bowl of Thabdi with warm, rich milk will set you back by just Rs 50. And for those flying solo on their sweet journey, a bowl of Thabdi alone comes at a pocket-friendly Rs 30.

Picture yourself by the serene Vastrapur lake, wrapped in the winter chill, enjoying a spoonful of Dudh Thabdi – it's not just about the food; it's about creating memories and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life!
