Ahmedabad has been embellished in preparation for the U20 Summit, which commenced today, with these public places remaining closed during the event.

Ahmedabad has been decked up in preparation for the prestigious two-day U20 Mayoral Summit, which commenced today. Dignitaries and mayors from various G20 countries have converged for this global event. As part of the summit's itinerary, the guests were treated to a heritage walk, immersing themselves in the historical splendor of the city.

Additionally, they will be introduced to notable urban projects such as the Sabarmati Riverfront and Atal Bridge. To ensure a seamless visit of U20 dignitaries, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced the temporary closure of these public spaces from 2 pm on Friday until the conclusion of the summit tomorrow.

The city's inhabitants have been enjoying the enchanting sight of brightly illuminated bridges and iconic landmarks in the old city.
