Ahmedabad, along with Surat, will be hosting the Thailand Week Roadshow 2023, a grand event to celebrate and bolster business and trade relations between Thailand and India.

The affair, which will be organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Thailand government, will take place on February 22-23 in Ahmedabad and February 25-27 at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The roadshow in the Gujarat cities will see the participation of over 40 companies from Thailand, from various sectors including the food and hospitality industry.

What will the Thailand Week Roadshow 2023 have?

Previously, other Indian cities have played host at similar such events and the authorities had received a positive response from the same. “We are sure it will be well received by the enterprising importers and traders of Gujarat,” Executive Director of DITP (Mumbai), Supatra Sawaengsri stated.

The event will offer, to enthusiastic spectators, countless products from multiple sectors like household, food and beverages, jewellery, cosmetics, pet-care and beauty.

Other entertainment activities include folk dance performances of Thailand and an enlivening cooking show which will see the preparation of vegetarian dishes from Thailand. Franchises of two famed Thai food chains are also slated to be offered at the roadshow.
