In an effort to curb the probable revival of growth in corona cases, the statewide curfew has been reinstated for a week in Goa. As per the official reports, all the continuing restrains will be functional for an additional week with no new relaxation. A senior administrator stated, "as part of the curfew, the state government has retained the restrictions that are currently in force".

Though a number of centres have been reopened in the state through the past few weeks, casinos, auditoriums, river cruises, spa and massage parlours will continue to remain closed. Gatherings and private functions are allowed in the state with up to 50% of the hall capacity.

Schools will not commence offline classes, as of now, however, examinations may be permitted with the government's approval. The authorities have also given a green signal to bars, restaurants and cinema halls to operate at 50% capacity, till 11 PM. While indoor gyms can run at 50% capacity, spectators at indoor or outdoor sports complexes are still prohibited.
