Beautifying the district of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh for decades, the Amangarh Tiger Reserve is a wilderness paradise that is now inviting all in its embrace. Open for tourists from November 15, the tiger reserve (TR) has a list of adventures planned for the visitors.
For starters, the TR will be upgraded and spruced up. While exclusive safaris and activities are being added to ensure a great time for those who choose to embark on this adventure, tourists can also stay at resorts and hotels that are being developed nearby.
Located next to Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park, the Amangarh Tiger Reserve will now reportedly be renamed as the 'New Jim Corbett'.
The reserve, which is defined by its lush greenery, vivid landscapes, and a large range of flora and fauna, wild animals and birds, is holding adventures like jungle safaris, elephant rides, camping, and trekking to enthrall the visitors. Now, trainers to oversee trekking and camping and a mahout to help with the supposed elephant safari, will ensure utmost safety.
A campaign to protect the areas occupied by tigers will also be launched, in addition to making an 80 sq kms tiger safari. A part of eco-tourism and Ganga tourism, the area is adorned by magnificent waterfalls, rivers, and mountains.
Moreover, you can also bank upon the new canteen for food and government retiring rooms for rest that are slated to be opened here.
Located approximately 405 kms from Lucknow, and 432 kms from Kanpur, the New Jim Corbett is calling us and we must pay heed! Take the adrenaline junkie, or wildlife enthusiast, in you to spot leopards, bears, and tigers, climb on Asiatic elephants, and witness panoramic views of nature.
