Mohammed Shami nominated for Arjuna Award, shuttlers Satwik-Chirag for Khel Ratna

WPI Inflation in India strikes 8-month high

The Wholesale Price Index in India has lost its 8-month streak of deflation, turning positive in the month of November. According to fresh data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India's WPI has gone from -0.52% (October) to 0.26% (November).

Road fatalities witness a decline globally, rates on the up  in India

In the period between 2011 and 2021, the number of people who have lost their lives in road accidents has gone down by 5%. India's share in those fatalities, on the other hand, has seen a rise from 1.34 lakh in 2010 to 1.54 lakh in 2021.

Delhi declaration unanimously adopted by the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence Summit

The 29 member nations, who are part of the Global Partnership of Artificial Intelligence Summit have given a unanimous nod to the New Delhi declaration. The declaration intends to boost the use of AI across sectors while also addressing the vital needs in the sector for the global south.

Launched on December, 1983, the iconic Maruti 800 completed its 40 years of launch today. The common man's car, which was launched at a price of ₹48,000, was produced 2.87 million times before it was discontinued on January 18, 2014.
