At present, there are two vaccines that are driving India's COVID vaccination programme- COVAXIN and Covishield. Individuals being injected with COVAXIN, need to appear at the medical facilities for a second dose, within 4-6 weeks. For Covishield, the time span extends between 4 to 8 weeks, for the final jab. Beneficiaries may develop mild symptoms of the virus, such as fever, body pain and tiredness but there is no reason to panic, medical experts have pointed out time and again.
