Indian Men's and Women's football teams get nod for Asian Games

In some great news for Indian football fans, both the men's and women's national teams will play in the Asian Games this year. This has been made possible because the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) has decided to relax the rules to allow both teams to participate.

UP Assembly to have new rule book; First-of-its-kind in the country

The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is all set to become the first in the country to adopt a new rule book of its own. The UP Assembly will replace the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, 1958. This will be done in the monsoon session of the assembly, which will be held between August 7 and August 11.

Spiti valley, Kinnaur entirely cut off from Shimla due to landslides

The tribal districts of Spiti Valley and Kinnaur have been cut off from Shimla due to landslides. This has resulted from the blockade of National Highway 5 or the Hindustan-Tibet Road due to the sinking of roads caused and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall.

ISRO successfully conducts tests on propulsion system for Gaganyaan

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully completed two more tests on the propulsion system for Gaganyaan Human Spaceflight Mission (GHSM). The said tests were conducted on Wednesday at the ISRO Propulsion Complex in Tamil Nadu.

Yuge Yugeen Museum in India billed to be the World's Largest

Showcasing India's rich cultural heritage and history, the proposed Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum will be the largest museum in the world. The announced museum will be built in Delhi on an area of around 1.17 lakh square meters and will house approximately 950 rooms.
