Under the ambit of this event, people can witness extreme adventures in the wilderness of Pachmarhi. Dhoopgarh is the highest peak in Madhya Pradesh. Notably, in order to boost tourism in the state, the administration had earlier hosted Forsyth Trail Run from Pachmarhi in the Hoshangabad district on February 12.
This first-of-its-kind marathon offered a unique experience for adventure lovers to explore the dense jungles during the trail. Initiated from Singnama, this run was concluded at Bison Lodge, Pachmarhi after covering a distance of 30-40 kilometres. Reportedly, tourists from Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Vidisha and Indore participated in this exciting and adventurous trail.
Talking about the future plan of action, a senior official said, "Tourism department is also planning to organise skydiving, cycling, treks and water sports in various parts of the state in coming months. The jungle safari is already a 'must-do' in the state with the presence of many national parks."
