Aditya Vikram

The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of 5 new flyovers in Indore on Thursday. These flyovers will be built in Indore under the Central Government's Setu Bandhan Scheme. In addition to that, construction of 5 bridges on the bypass route has also received the green light from the cabinet.

Where will these flyovers be constructed in Indore?

The new flyovers in Indore will be built at Retimandi, IT Park Square, Musakhedi, Satya Sai Square, and Dewas Naka. As a result, traffic congestion in areas surrounding these spots will come down drastically, providing relief to Indoreans from frustrating jams.

These project to construct these 5 flyovers, along with the 5 bridges on the bypass, will collectively cost around ₹600 crore. It is noteworthy that the demand to build new flyovers in the city to decongest certain areas were being raised constantly over the last two years.
