The Indore administration is developing an integrated service portal to digitize government services. This will make it easier for the public to register and resolve their queries from different departments.

Reportedly, all the services from most of the major government departments will be integrated into this portal and will be brought online via advanced technology.

15 days trial was held for testing the portals usability

Recently a 15-day trial was held during which multiple departments were involved and was working on raising and resolving queries through Google Sheets.

During the trials, the Indore district administration had integrated major departments, such as IMC, PWD, MPIDC, School Education, PHE, and Health, on a Google Sheet. Through the form-based interface of the Google platform, officials were able to raise and answer issues related to specific works of their concerned departments.

Furthermore, the e-governance department has been asked to develop a dedicated portal for this purpose. Once operational, the portal will also have a deadline for each query and the government authorities will be required to provide a resolution in a fixed duration, this will help in preventing delays.
