Indore has made substantial progress in bringing its eagerly anticipated metro system to life. The city's first-ever dynamic trial for the metro train was successfully completed on September 13. Subsequently, a safety check is being conducted currently.
The final trial is scheduled for month end, on September 30, coinciding with additional developmental initiatives.
The initial trial focused on practical aspects of train operations, including movement, stops, station timing and metro alarms. These were meticulously examined and discussed by officials.
Looking ahead to the final trial, this event will also mark the inauguration of the double-decker bridge at Lavkush crossing and other development projects, such as roads outlined in the master plan and an international swimming bridge.
Additionally, the chief minister will visit Gandhinagar for the metro trial, dedicating approximately two hours to this endeavour. In anticipation of the September 30 trial, Metro Corporation officials have expedited work at three stations adjacent to Gandhinagar, with the installation of escalators and the construction of station sheds advancing swiftly.
