Earlier this year, designated officials and senior authorities of Madhya Pradesh identified the potential of growth and development in the state, particularly in Indore. Soon enough, Indore was added to the list of Atal Mission For Rejuvenation And Urban Transformation (AMRUT) cities, under the urban development project of the central government.
A Local Area Plan (LAP) was constituted for Indore's development, within the scope of the Smart City Mission to introduce various town planning schemes. Reportedly, this plan received the Union's nod on September 6 and since then, various development projects are going on in full swing here.
