After a board meeting last week, bus fare in Indore has been increased. The newly-hiked fare has come into effect from Sunday, August 25. Earlier, a fare of ₹5 was applicable for a 2 km journey but now this amount will be charged for a 1.5 km journey.

Furthermore, the fare for 22.1 km was ₹30, which has now been increased to ₹40.

Way to Nayta Mundla Bus station cleared after demolition drive

The new Nayta Mundla bus stand in Indore is now ready to start services. This has come after the demolition drive that cleared a total of 17 constructions on the way to the station. Notably, the bus operators were unwilling to start operations from the bus stand as they were facing problems in reaching it because of the aforementioned constructions.

With these constructions now cleared, the way to the bus stand has become smooth as ever. Now, the AiCTSL buses will start operations from this bus stand, which will help ease the traffic load across the city.
