Passengers travelling from Bilaspur and Jabalpur to Indore, can breathe a sigh of relief, as new direct flights will be flagged off between the cities from October 3. These flights will be operated by Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India.

The initiative is a part of the union government's flagship regional connectivity by air scheme, UDAAN. Read on to find out more about the flight schedule and timings.

In a move to increase regional connectivity in Madhya Pradesh, Alliance Air will start new direct flights from Indore to Bilaspur, Jabalpur and Gwalior. Out of all these cities, a direct flight between Bilaspur and Indore will be the first such flight.

Reportedly, Indore-Jabalpur and Indore-Gwalior direct flights will be operated thrice a week. Meanwhile, Indore to Bilaspur direct flight will be operated four times a week. As per officials, these flights will be further connected to New Delhi.

• Weekdays: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

• Indore to Jabalpur: 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM

• Jabalpur to Bilaspur: 10:00 AM to 11:05 AM

• Bilaspur to Indore: 11:35 AM to 1:25 PM

Flight No. 9I-692: Indore to New Delhi via Bilaspur and Jabalpur

• Indore to Bilaspur: 1:55 PM to 3:45 PM

• Bilaspur to Jabalpur: 4:15 PM to 5:20 PM

Flight No. 9I-617: New Delhi to Gwalior via Jabalpur and Indore

• New Delhi to Jabalpur: 7:20 AM to 9:30 AM

• Jabalpur to Indore: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

• Indore to Gwalior: 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
