Indore experienced an unexpected spell of heavy rainfall on Saturday evening. This caused waterlogging issues and power cuts across multiple areas. The sudden downpour also led to a noticeable drop in temperatures.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the unseasonal rain is linked to a trough formation that has created a low-pressure zone over the Middle-East Arabian Sea.
While Indore remains under cloud cover, more rain is expected later tonight. The maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 33°C today, with a low of 22°C. Additional rainfall is anticipated for Monday, with isolated spells on Tuesday.
