Indore News | IMC initiates stormwater line restoration to combat waterlogging

Jatin Shewaramani

With the arrival of the monsoon, parts of Indore have been experiencing severe to moderate rainfall on a regular basis, leading to waterlogging issues in various localities.

These problems have been reported in areas including the BRTS Corridor stretches, Scheme 78, Niranjanpur Sabji Mandi, Vijay Nagar Square, and others. In response to the aggravated issues caused by waterlogging, the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has initiated the cleaning and restoration of chambers and stormwater lines in these areas.

IMC teams have been deployed to undertake this task, and officials have been instructed to thoroughly restore the natural flow of water to eliminate waterlogging issues.
