Knocksense Shorts | Indore clinches 5th National Water Award in West Zone

Recognizing the city's efforts in water conservation and management.

Indore clinched the 5th National Water Awards in the West Zone, after scoring the cumulative highest score across five categories. This honour also recognized Indore's rainwater harvesting efforts, featuring over 100,000 rooftop rainwater harvesting systems across the city.

In addition to that, the district has also undertaken over 800 water and soil conservation projects. In a nutshell, Indore's focus on improving the state of its water bodies and ensuring as less wastage as possible has led to securing the lead in another environment-centric award.
