The deadline for online applications for admission under the rules of the Right to Education (RTE) was extended from June 30th to July 5th for free admission to private schools. The scheme is only available for admission in the primary section. According to the Director State Education Center, Mr Dhanraju, the applicants will be allotted admission to schools via an online lottery system on July 14th.

The timetable has been altered keeping the betterment of the kids in mind. As per the reports, the new schedule is a result of the delay in the admission procedure due to the local body election in the state. Additionally, several parents also failed to get the verification done by the previous deadline. As per the new schedule, the online applications will be open till July 5th, verification till July 9th, the allotment of schools will be done on July 14th and the sessions will start from July 23rd.
