Somya Agarwal

Marking the 10-days long Ganeshotsav festivities, IIM Indore has kicked off Sanskrit and Odia workshops. As per reports, this is the second round of Sanskrit workshops whereas first for Odia. So far, a total of 98 community members have registered to participate in the six-months-long study group.

As part of its steadfast commitment to cultural preservation, this initiative has been taken after the overwhelming response received by IIM Indore during the previous edition.

Fostering a stronger linguistic heritage

These workshops have been initiated for community members only. Reflecting on the success of the previous workshops at the inauguration ceremony, Prof Rai extended his heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated language instructors for not only imparting linguistic knowledge but also fostering curiosity and respect for these languages within the IIM Indore community.

This year, the workshops aim to provide a nurturing environment for the IIM Indore community to learn, appreciate and excel in ancient languages like Sanskrit and Odia, fostering a stronger bond with their linguistic heritage.
