More candidates from states other than Madhya Pradesh will now be able to appear for MPPSC exams from now on. The mandatory condition of registration from the Employment Exchange Office has been dissolved by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC). The move is aimed at reducing the illegal candidature and all the aspirants to appear for the exam. This would also reduce the number of fake registrations undertaken for the candidature.
This condition was only introduced by the Commission in 2019. Prior to this, candidates from all over the country were able to appear for MPPSC exams. However, such candidates were not able to claim reservations even if they belonged to a reserved category.
With this new condition in place, a large number of candidates will be able to register with the Employment Exchange Office without any fake or illegal IDs, resulting in an increment in the employment rate. The compulsory condition has been dissolved last week.
The commission accepted online applications for State Service Prelims and State Forest Service Prelims from January 11 to February 12 this year. With this new development, the Commission will once again open the registration windows from May 5 to May 11. Both outsiders and local aspirants will be able to register for the exams during this period. It is likely that the prelims exam will be conducted on the same date as per the proposed schedule.
