Development work for a mega textile park on more than 1,200 acres of land in Bhainsoli village in Dhar, around 65 km from Indore, has been started by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC).

The new hub will be built along the lines of contemporary international and national standards in the textile industry. This will cater to requirements of local artisans and businesses on a larger scale.

What will the new mega textile park have?

Apart from the advanced technology for workers, the new textile park in Dhar will be equipped with a slew of facilities like a training center, up-to-date health services, commercial space, plug and play facilities along with advanced logistics. In fact, latest reports suggest that some leading players in textile are already in talks with the government for investing in the textile park.

It is noteworthy that the Madhya Pradesh government had sent names of four locations to the central government for the mega textile park which included Ratlam, Dewas and Katni. Eventually, Dhar had been finalized after deliberation on a range of factors such as the availability of water, solid waste management and more, which are crucial to the functioning of the mega textile hub.
