Traffic restrictions in place for Indore's IND vs AUS test match; Check diversions here

The third test match of the Border-Gavaskar trophy is set to kick off from today and will continue till March 5 at the Holkar Stadium.

The 3rd match of the IND vs AUS test cricket series is presently being held at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The match is scheduled to continue until March 5, as a result, several routes in the city are expected to be affected, particularly during the start and end of the daily match sessions.

Owing to the ongoing match, the district authorities have released an update regarding the entry routes and parking points near the stadium for the spectators. Additionally, most of the nearby routes will remain affected between 6 AM to 10 AM and between 4 PM to 7 PM.

Parking points and entry routes for spectators

Parking points:

  • Yashwant club parking

  • Khel Prashal & IT parking

  • Basketball Complex parking

  • SGSITS Campus parking

  • Pancham Ka Phel ground parking

  • Bal Vinay Mandir School parking

Spectators arriving to witness the match from the Hukumchand Ghantaghar and the Pancham Ka Phel will be required to park their vehicles at the designated parking spots and head towards the stadium from the Zanjeerwala crossing.

Similarly, spectators arriving from the Lantern crossing area can also head to the stadium on foot after parking their vehicles.

Which are the traffic diversions?

  • The Palassia-Ghantaghar-High Court-Regal Tiraha route will remain affected during peak hours. All the vehicles will be diverted from the Regal tiraha towards the Madhumilan area.

  • Vehicles moving towards Ghantaghar from the Geetbhawan crossing can head to Dhakkan Wala Kuan, move towards Madhumilan area route and then head to their desired destination.

  • Vehicles coming from Vijay Nagar and moving towards Marimata area can move towards MIG Crossing and opt for the Patniputra-Pardeshipura-Kulkarni Nagar bridge to reach their desired destination.
