In view of the upcoming Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas (PBD) and Global Investors Summit (GIS-2023) to be held in Indore from January 8 to 12, Tata’s Vistara Airline is now flying special flights from Indore to Mumbai for the next fifteen days, starting January 1, 2023.
Earlier, this airline was operating only one flight each in the morning and evening between Indore to New Delhi.
As per officials, pre-booking for the special flights commenced from December 17. The schedule of these flights is such that the special flight will depart from Mumbai Airport at 01:50 PM and land in Indore Airport at 03:05 PM. Similarly, the return flight will depart from Indore at 03:45 PM and arrive at the Mumbai Airport at 04:55 PM.
As already mentioned, these flight operations have been initiated by Vistara Airlines for the convenience of international delegates coming to Indore to participate in the two major events, PBD and GIS-2023. A footfall of approximately 4,000 delegates and NRI is expected at the events. These temporary special flights will greatly benefit passengers and take some load off regular flight operators.
