Reportedly, the Higher Education Minister in Rajasthan Cabinet asserted that the average of the scores obtained in grades 10 and 12 will be considered for promoting first-year UG students. Further, the second-year students will start attending online classes for the third year but their exams will be conducted once the situation improves. The students will be evaluated through objective/descriptive assessments and the results will be declared by December 31, 2021.
As per reports, online exams can be conducted for the courses which have a low count of students and inadequate resources for organising offline tests. Reportedly, the minister affirmed that all COVID protocols will be followed at the examination centres, in alignment with the orders. Adding to this, pupils and staff of universities and colleges will be inoculated on priority. If an infected person fails to appear for the exam, he/she will be given an alternate opportunity in the future.
