Jaipur Metro's operational timings extended till 7:30 PM from today onwards

The last metro train will run from at 7:30 PM on weekdays & the service shall be halted on Sunday

With the dipping case tallies in Jaipur, curfew restrictions are being relaxed in the city gradually. As per the latest developments, the Jaipur Metro authorities have increased the operational timings of the local travel network till 7:30 PM in the evening, from today. Now, the last metro train will run from Badi Chaupad and Mansarovar Station at 7:30 PM on weekdays and reports state that these services shall remain suspended on Sunday.

First train to start at 6:20 in the morning

Reportedly, the metro trains will start at 6:20 AM and the service shall be available after every 10 minutes. Given the ongoing uncertainties, the Managing Director of Jaipur Metro affirmed that sufficient measures are being undertaken to ensure social distancing is followed. Apart from this, the metro guards and police officials will make sure that the COVID-related guidelines and protocols are strictly adhered to.

As per reports, the art gallery located at the Chhoti Chaupad Station will be functional from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. While the facility is being opened, it is important for all visitors to be careful and vigilant so that no lag leads to a resumed chain of reactions.

It is noteworthy that the metro facility was revived on June 17 after a long halt. As per reports, commuters have been wary of traveling in the metro and the number of footfalls has remained low during the past two weeks. As of now, the metro services were operational till 4:30 but now the timings have been revised, assuring benefits for daily passengers like office employees.
