Reportedly, around one lakh saplings of Chrysanthemum and Petunia will be planted. The current plans suggest that plantation drives coupled with bi-annual preservation works would be initiated along the medians of Queens Road, Prince Road, Sanjay Nagar and C-zone Bypass Ajmer road.
In addition to this, Civil Lines, Statue Circle and elevated road medians are also being covered under the beautification project. The proposal would also extend to the road connecting Jaipur railway station to Mansarover Metro station and Sanganer and Sitapur flyovers. While the administration has distributed the total amount amongst various zones, it is expected that the implementation of the project would begin soon.
