Jaipur Police has initiated this new project to revamp the city into a beggar-free territory. After surveying more than 1,100 beggars in the city, the police officials have chosen those individuals who wished for a better life and now, they are being trained at the rehabilitation centre.

As per reports, these beggars are being trained by Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC). Under the initiative called BHOR, these homeless individuals are being coached with vocational skills so that they can lead financially independent lives. Reportedly, the field is decided based on the interest and experience of these beggars and they are being trained under a 3-month professional program.

Scope of the scheme to be extended across other cities in the state
