Rajasthan to host Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart 2022 from July 22-24

RDTM '22 will see hotels, restaurants & travel and trade companies as buyers from all over Rajasthan.

Apart from climbing up on the tourism charts, Rajasthan has also emerged as a favourite destination for investment in tourism and its allied projects. In a bid to facilitate business-to-business (B2B) meetings to showcase the immense potential the state has, the Dept of Tourism is set to host the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) from July 22-24 in Jaipur.

Reportedly, in recent years, Rajasthan has attracted a huge amount of investment in tourism sector. The principal secretary Department of Tourism, added, "the largest number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and the Letters of Intent (LoI) were signed in the Rajasthan tourism sector for the Invest Rajasthan Roadshows."

Notably, the signed MoUs equalled a sum of ₹11,906 crores for 363 projects, generating employment for over 57,000 people. It must be noted that along with its cultural and royal heritage, Rajasthan has also also upped in arenas of wildlife, eco-rural, wellness, leisure, pilgrimage, weddings, etc. Additionally, the state has further accentuated the scope of Rural, film and heritage tourism.

The recently organised Invest Rajasthan roadshow hosted the screening of three films by the Department of Tourism. The theme of these films were based on the recently held Rajasthan Diwas celebrations, the world heritage sites in Rajasthan and the cuisines of Rajasthan. Reportedly, the roadshow saw huge attendance from stakeholders from the tourism sector.
