Efforts to bolster water tourism at the mighty Ganges have been going on for a while now, including the annual Ganga rally, boating, water sports, training camps at the official Boat Club and more.

To add to the same, Kanpur-ites will soon be able to indulge in a delightful culinary experience at an upcoming floating restaurant in Ganga, amidst zestful water sports. Precisely, residents and tourists alike would enjoy boating along with delish meals at the restaurant on serene waters.

Increasing water sports to elevate the overall experience

The divisional commissioner has pressed on setting up the floating restaurant here to help elevate tourism and uplift the food sector further. This comes after Uttar Pradesh's first floating restaurant was inaugurated in Prayagraj in January this year.

For the upcoming floating restaurant in Kanpur, the area opposite the boat club, at the bustling Atal Ghat of Ganga Barrage, has been chosen. Along with increasing water activities and flourishing boat club events, the floating restaurant will help fascinate throngs of visitors.
