IIT Kanpur inks an MoU with Conlis Global for licensing of self-developed bone regeneration tech

The MoU will enable both parties to bring this technology to the global market and improve healthcare outcomes.

In an effort to license an indigenous bone regeneration technology, IIT Kanpur signed an MoU with Conlis Global, a Canadian biotechnology company.

The technology, named ‘Nano Hydroxyapatite Based Porous Polymer Composite Scaffolds for Bioactive Molecule Delivery in Musculoskeletal Regeneration’, was developed by Prof. Ashok Kumar and his research team from the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur.

Prof. S. Ganesh, the Director of IIT Kanpur, said, "This innovative technology is an example of how we can make a real difference. It is a testament to the high quality of research at IITK that brings real and practical benefits to people.
