EICT Academy, IIT Kanpur starts an online winter training program on Natural Language Processing

This two-week long Joint Online Faculty Development Programme will start from February 7 and commence by February 18

In an attempt to enhance the domain expertise of interested faculties, the Electronics and ICT (EICT) Academy, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the Union Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology is offering a course on Natural Language Processing. This two-week long Joint Online Faculty Development Programme will start from February 7 and commence by February 18. Read on to know more about this online training program offered by IIT Kanpur.

Designed to master the knowledge on the subject, this program has been launched in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology Patna, IIT Roorkee, Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur and Malviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. The registration for this winter training program is open till February 5, read a tweet by the official handle of IIT Kanpur.
Notably, the EICT Academy at IIT Kanpur has been instituted to impart hands-on courses in Electronics and ICT that are industry-focused and industry-driven. Moving forward with its mission, the academy has come up with the winter training program this year. This course will be conducted by academics and industry personnel from renowned institutes like IIT Patna, Jadavpur University, Banaras Hindu University, Phenom People Inc, Woosong University and Endicott College of International Studies, among others.

All faculty members and students can take up this innovative course at a nominal fee of ₹500 while other people interested in this course will have to shell out ₹1000. Foreign academics can also take up this course by paying a one-time fee of ₹4,240. Upon successful completion of this course, it is expected to benefit working professionals, graduate students, researchers and young lecturers alike.
